Information that Compumine collects In order to provide our software and services, Compumine collects the following information: User accounts and license keys You have to create a user account on the web site in order to download and install Compumine’s software. In order to register you have to provide your name and a valid e-mail address. In connection with your first download and acceptance of the license agreement for Compumine’s software, a unique license key is generated for you. This license key is linked to your user account, and is used for identifying your use of Compumine’s software. E-mail addresses Compumine will not send you unwanted e-mails or other junk mail. Compumine stores your e-mail address just as securely as other personal data. Your e-mail address will not be passed on to third parties. However, Compumine will use your e-mail address to send you messages regarding faults and service issues related to your account and Compumine's software. We may also use your e-mail address to send you news relating to Compumine and Compumine’s software. If you do not wish to receive this type of e-mail you can give notice about this by sending an e-mail message to unsubscribe@compumine.com. Information about your use of Compumine’s software Your use of Compumine’s software requires that you have a user account. When using our software, your user account is identified by your license key. Your license key together with information related to your use is transmitted in encrypted form to Compumine’s license administration system each time you use Compumine’s software for creating predictive models and for making predictions. Compumine uses this information in order to charge for your use of our software and in order to provide account balance information and transaction history relating to your use of the software. Only information relating to your use of the software is collected in this way. No part of the data which you analyse or any other information that could be used for finding out for which purposes or on what data you use the software, leaves your computer. Payment information When you deposit money to your user account, Compumine uses third parties such as banks and companies providing payment services. In connection with each such transaction, the necessary information such as credit card number will be sent to or collected by those third parties that are involved in the transaction. This information is stored on a secure server belonging to the provider of the payment services, and is used by Compumine and Compumine’s suppliers according to governing law. Information provided via forms on Compumine’s web site In order to provide support, improve the software and in order to collect information about how you perceive our products and services, Compumine may provide various forms on the web site. All information that is voluntarily submitted by using such forms may be used anonymously in order to promote Compumine and Compumine’s software.
